Pumpkin Fun!

It's almost Halloween and my school had some pumpkin fun! Last week was Book Fair week and our school librarian held a pumpkin decorating contest. Teachers and students were to decorate pumpkins in their favorite book character! Our school had a blast looking at all the decorated pumpkins! Look at the pumpkins and see if you can guess what they are!

My First Paid Product Listed! Yay for Me!

Now I am really excited! I just completed my first full Unit Packet for the book Muggie Maggie by Beverly Clearly. I am really proud of this accomplishment! This packet can accompany any teacher who is reading this book as a read aloud, shared reading or literature circle group. The full product is about 10 pages and has many great graphic organizers, vocabulary worksheets and a comprehension test. The product is up and posted in my TpT store. I think I have also figured out the kinks of power point! I am now ready to move full speed ahead in creating lots more products. My goal is to create 2 products a week! Wish me LUCK!

My First Product!

I am SUPER EXCITED!!!!! I finally posted my first TpT Product! Since my first product has to be a freebie, I did a simple following directions activity sheet that I have used in the past with my students for Back to School. I use it to show the importance of following directions. I am still getting the hang of power point, so right now it is taking me forever to finish one page. But a few more products under my belt then I would have mastered Power Point! Please feel free to check out this product and leave comments and feedback! Books and Bagels Oh My!

School is in full swing here in Tennessee. This is my second year being an Instructional Coach at my school and I love it! As soon as I got back from Vegas it was full swing ahead and my first task was cleaning and organizing the teacher book room! This year I am so fortunate to get to work with Alexandria of Classroom Action with Ms. Jackson. She is also the second instructional coach at my school! We are super excited to be working together again!

It took us about 2 weeks to get everything we wanted and we couldn’t be more excited with the result. Check out the before and after photos of our awesome book room. We launched the book with a Books and Bagels event for the teachers. We got this great idea from Latoya of Flying into First.

  The bookroom was such a mess and disorganized. We had so much stuff in the room. It definitely was not teacher friendly! The new space has easy walk ways and everything is very clean! On the tables are some of the give always that we gave to the teachers during our Books and Bagels Event.

 

Yummy bagels from Panera for our Books and Bagels Event. It was a hit with the teachers! They were so appreciative of everything and especially the food!

Back to School!

This summer has flown by! I can't believe school has already started!!!! The month of July was an exciting one for me as I launched my brand and attended the Teachers Pay Teachers Conference! I had an amazing time meeting tons of blogger friends and learning so much about TpT. I am super excited to start creating and selling products and taking my brand to the next level! My New Blog Design!!!!

Today I have officially launched my Blog Website and New Blog Design!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! The ladies at Blogs Fit for A Queen designed my new look and I couldn't be more happier!!!! They are truly awesome at what they do! I am currently in Vegas ready to meet new teacher bloggers and network at the SDE and Tpt Conferences!!!! Stay tuned!

Tell All Tuesday!!!! (Even though today is WEDNESDAY!)

So this only my second blog post and I was so proud of myself for doing the Tell All Tuesday, until I forgot that today was WEDNESDAY and not TUESDAY!  However, since I spent so much time on it and was so happy for myself I decided to still share it any away!

So Today I am linking up with Teach, Talk, Inspire and My Day in K for their Tell All Tuesday, even though today is WEDNESDAY!

My teacher bucket list is full of my main 3 goals that I wish to accomplish within the next 2 years!

 

 1. The first item on my teacher bucket list is that I would like to go back to school to earn my Doctorate degree! I recently completed my EDS in Administration and Supervision this past May and that has inspired me to go a little further to earn my Doctorate degree.

2. The next item on my bucket list is that I would like to go into administration. Since I just completed my degree in Administration and Supervision, that has now allowed me to become eligible to become an administrator in my state. I have had the opportunity to work under some AWESOME administrators and I hope to be just as awesome as them one day.

3. The last item on my bucket list is that I would love to have the opportunity to present at a conference. I have learned so much in my years of teaching and currently coaching that I want to continue to inspire and help others improve their teaching craft!

My first blog!

Hello!

This is my very first blog post and I am so excited to finally be doing a blog on the thing I love most and that is education! Currently the lovely ladies at blogsfitforaqueen.com are working on my blog design! I can't wait to show you the finished product! Next week is another exciting week as I will be going to Las Vegas for the SDE conference on Differentiated Instruction! In addition I hope to make lots of blogger friends!
